Tips
1. Simmer the Meatballs
Add meatballs to a pot of rich, seasoned tomato sauce.
Simmer gently until the meatballs are heated through and infused with flavor.
2. Prepare the Onions
Choose your style:
Sliced: lightly sauté until softened
Caramelized: cook slowly in butter or oil until golden brown and sweet
Both options pair beautifully with the sauce.
3. Toast the Brioche Bun
Lightly toast the brioche bun until golden and crisp on the edges.
This prevents sogginess once the sauce hits the bread.
4. Assemble the Sandwich
Spoon meatballs with plenty of tomato sauce onto the brioche bun.
Add sliced or caramelized onions.
