Maine Lobster Rolls (Cold Lobster Rolls)

Ingredients

  • Authentic Brioche Hot Dog Buns
  • Cooked Lobster Meat (9 - 12 oz.)
  • 4 tbsp of Mayonnaise
  • Thinly Sliced Chives
  • 1-2 Leaves of Butter Lettuce
  • Salt & Black Pepper (To Taste)

Tips

Prepare the Buns

Lightly butter the outsides of the brioche hot dog buns.
Toast them in a skillet or on a griddle until golden and crisp.
This step enhances the contrast between the buttery, crispy brioche and the tender lobster meat.

Make the Filling

In a bowl, gently combine the cooked lobster meat with mayonnaise.
Add the chives, then season with salt and freshly cracked black pepper.
Mix lightly—avoid breaking up the lobster pieces.

Build the Roll

Line each toasted bun with 1–2 leaves of butter lettuce.
Spoon the lobster mixture generously into each bun.

Serve

Enjoy immediately while the buns are warm and the filling is cool and fresh
