Connecticut Lobster Rolls (Warm Lobster Rolls)
-
10 - 15 minutes
Ingredients
- Authentic Brioche Hot Dog Buns
- Cooked Lobster Meat (9 - 12 oz.)
- 8 tbsp of Melted Butter
- Juice of One Lemon
- Sliced Green Onions
- Salt & Black Pepper (to taste)
- Tarragon (optional)
Tips
Toast the Buns
Lightly brush the brioche buns with some of the melted butter.
Toast them in a skillet until golden and crisp.
This helps the buns stay sturdy even when filled with warm lobster, butter, and lemon.
Warm the Lobster
In a small saucepan over low heat, combine:
the remaining melted butter
lemon juice
sliced green onions
optional tarragon
Add the lobster meat and warm gently—don’t overcook. The goal is tender, buttery lobster, not simmering it.
Assemble the Rolls
Fill each toasted brioche bun generously with the warm lobster mixture.
Season with salt and freshly cracked black pepper.
Serve Immediately
Enjoy while the buns are crisp and the lobster is warm and buttery.
