APPLE PIE FRENCH TOAST WITH PECANS

Ingredients

  • 4 - 5 Eggs
  • 1 – 1¼ Cup of Milk
  • Butter
  • Salt to Taste
  • Apple Slices
  • Walnuts
  • Cinnamon Powder
  • Brown Sugar
  • Vanilla Extract
  • Lemon Juice
  • Whipped Topping / Whipped Cream

Tips

1. Make the Custard

In a bowl, whisk together: Eggs Milk Vanilla extract Salt
Whisk until smooth.
Dip each brioche slice into the mixture, letting it fully soak but not fall apart.

2. Prepare the Apples

While the brioche is soaking: Peel and slice your apples. Heat a saucepan over medium heat and melt a small amount of butter. Add the apples along with: A splash of lemon juice Cinnamon powder A spoonful of brown sugar A touch of vanilla extract Cook until the apples are soft, warm, and syrupy.
