- Salmon hamburger patty
- Beet hummus
- Lettuce (preferably romaine or butterhead)
- Sliced red onion
- Cheddar cheese
- Mayonnaise
- Sesame Brioche Burger Buns
Tips
1. Prep the Beet Hummus (Optional Enhancement)
If you want extra brightness or heat, stir a dash of lemon juice and/or a pinch of chili flakes into the beet hummus.
Set aside.
2. Toast the Buns
Lightly toast the sesame brioche buns in a skillet or toaster.
This adds texture and keeps the buns from getting soggy once the sauces and toppings are added.
3. Cook the Salmon Patty
Cook the salmon hamburger patty according to your preferred method—pan‑seared, baked, or grilled.
In the final minute of cooking, place a slice of cheddar cheese on top so it melts slightly.

Rinse and pat dry the lettuce.
Slice the red onion thinly for a crisp bite.

Spread a layer of mayonnaise on the bottom bun.
